You’ve got mail: Get your new Auer postage stamp

Creamy, crunchy and now collectible – for our 100 year anniversary the Austrian Post Office is celebrating Auer with its own stamp. Available in a limited edition run of 330,000 the stamp portraits a delicious piece of Austrian culture: waffle, Baumstamm and Tortenecke by Auer. Delicious!

Says the Post Office: “Finest waffle specialties by Auer have now been a part of the Austrian culture since 100 years. The Austrian Post Office congratulates Auer on this anniversary with all our heart and is releasing a special issue stamp as part of our series “Classic Trademarks” which was designed by the brand artist Marion Füllerer.”

Since the end of April, the stamp is available in all post offices, at philately sales outlets and through the Austrian Post online shop.
