Tortenecken
Crunchy wafer sheets combine with fi ne hazelnut cream to become the classic from the house of AUER. Since the 1920s this legendary treat is shared to make special moments golden.
They were once a happy accident when master confectioner Rudolf Auer created the Tortenecken – then known as “cake fragments” – by unintentionally breaking large but fragile wafer cakes. Their immediate success became the corner stone of the extensive range of Austria’s most elegant wafer compositions.

Wafers with hazelnut cream filling (85%). Ingredients: sugar, vegetable fats (palm, palm kernel, coconut in variable proportions by weight), wheat flour, hazelnut (8.1%), lactose (milk), soya flour, low-fat cocoa powder, palm oil, emulsifier: soya lecithin, skimmed milk powder, flavouring, raising agent (sodium carbonate), table salt.
